Irregular periods, hormone imbalances, PMS symptoms like acne, sore breasts, and mood swings that last for over a week, reproductive issues such as fibroids.. the list goes on. I have talked to so many women who will try anything to make their monthly cycle more tolerable, including making it stop altogether. I've lost count of how many times I've heard or read "my body hates me." I know how incredibly frustrating it can be because I've been there too.
For years I struggled with acne, heavy periods + clots, period cramps so bad that medication barely scratched the surface, raging mood swings and eventually pre-menstrual depression. I would feel spaced out around my period and was so tired I could barely function. My whole pelvic area (including my lower back) felt stiff and what I can only describe as "congested." My lower belly would be so swollen and tender during my period that I had to be careful with how I moved around.
I started doing research into hormone health and the menstrual cycle and I realized that the whole time, I was being told my symptoms were normal when my body was actually trying to tell me that something was up! The truth is.. women are constantly being told that their symptoms and discomfort is normal.. and while it may be becoming incredibly common, it definitely is not normal.
Your symptoms are not the enemy! In fact, your symptoms are the glorious language that your body is speaking. I'm here to teach you that language while guiding you on the path to balance and a more vibrant way of living.
My four month herbal coaching program is perfect for women who are looking for more than a "quick fix." This program is for women looking to develop a deep connection to their bodies and gently guide the body back into balance. It's also a place for you to finally feel heard regarding your health and wellness and a space for you to feel held. Much more in-depth and comprehensive than one-off appointments, this program allows you to be guided every step of the way. My personal style of working with women involves teaching you the WHY behind health + herbs, giving you information and tools that are actually going to make a difference, holding space for your journey + emotions, and getting you excited about your health again. My goal is for you to feel empowered and to feel GOOD in your body again!
Plants have been used for thousands of years to support the body, mind, and soul. Herbs are a gentle yet effective way to promote balance within the body and make a great addition to support your health + wellness. In keeping with a truly holistic approach we focus on herbs but we also discuss nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, mindfulness, and so on! We know that health concerns generally don't just pop up over night, they are a result of months or even years of being disconnected from the body. Life is more hectic than ever and we often find ourselves putting our own needs last. Especially as women, it's in our nature to nurture others. We are selfless beings but it's often at the expense of our own health. This program is your time. When you go through this process you are saying YES to yourself, you are choosing YOU.

Four months is a long time and a serious commitment! I'm dedicated to working with you as closely as possible, giving you all the resources I can. On this journey, it is important to remember that the real changes come from YOU. You are the creator of your own life.
I want to help you make true lifestyle changes, not short-term, unsustainable goals that leave you feeling uninspired and defeated. One of my beliefs is that life is meant to be savoured and to be full of joy. I do not support diet culture (including cleanses), quick-fixes, or the use of herbs to completely override the natural processes of the body. True healing takes time and it's important to be gentle with yourself as you go through this process. It can often taken at least one month of implementing any new regime before you start to notice a shift.
I have a background in herbalism, nutrition, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and embodiment. I have a deep passion for the connection between the body, mind, and soul. Sometimes in our journey, even though we may be focusing on the physical, some emotional challenges can come up as well. Please know that this is always a safe space and I absolutely love talking about all things spiritual and personal growth.
