This is bound to be a body + soul nourishing day with a beautiful group of women!  If you've been wanting to dive into the world of food + herbs to support your body as a woman, this one-day workshop is the place for you.  Do you struggle with PMS, postpartum fatigue, fibrocystic breasts, peri-menopausal symptoms, or any other women's health issue?  Or maybe you just want to learn more about promoting balance in the body.  Either way, we're going to cover it all throughout the day!

We'll start the day with a short blessing + some breathwork to bring us in to the container of our day together, then we'll get into some education!  We'll make our way through the topics of women in the modern day, cyclical living, a brief history of herbalism, common women's health concerns, how to choose the herbs that will work best for you, and some of my favourite herbs for women.  This lesson + discussion will take place for the majority of the morning.  Don't worry, we'll break for laughter + tea throughout, and there will be plenty of time for questions!

Lunch will consist of a few dishes, mainly vegan but I will include one with an animal protein. Everything made will incorporate herbs either foraged or grown in the garden!  We'll also have a good selection of sides and snacks.

In the afternoon we'll embark on a combined garden tour and herb walk (approximately 45 minutes to one hour in total).  On our adventure you'll be able to see and interact with many of the herbs we discussed during our lesson; we'll introduce some plant I.D. and basic foraging principals.  Once we're back at home base we'll spend some time learning the basics of making herbal remedies at home.  We'll concoct a tincture, a salve, a nutritious vinegar, and your very own customized tea blend.
