Women's health issues are on the rise and many women are left feeling alone, frustrated, disconnected from their bodies, confused about how they can help themselves, and just downright angry.  I used to be that woman!  In my teens and all throughout my twenties I struggled with painful periods, intense mood swings, adult acne, anxiety, depression, digestive issues.. you name it.  I subscribed to the notion that my body hated me and that all of my symptoms were "normal."  I was constantly overwhelmed with life and honestly, ashamed of my symptoms.  It wasn't until I quit university back in late 2014 that I really started to dive into holistic healing modalities as a way to support my body and cultivate balance.  Over the years I realized that a women's body is truly meant to feel good and that small changes can often yield big results!

Supporting your body and your health, as a woman, does not have to be complicated!  We've been sold fad diets and quick fix pills and methods for years, destroying our self-confidence and disconnecting us from the wonder of our bodies.. but did you know that your symptoms are not the problem?  Your symptoms are a beautiful language that your body is using to communicate what's going on within you!  And if we can learn to listen and understand those symptoms, we are better able to make choices that support our health + wellness as women!  This is where working with a coach can come in handy.

I am a women's herbalist with additional training in nutrition, women's health mentorship, yoga, and mindfulness.  Coaching + consultation sessions are a place for you to finally feel heard regarding your health and wellness and a space for you to feel held.   I take an integrative approach to women's health, knowing that there is no single magic cure-all.  My personal style of working with women involves teaching you the WHY behind health + herbs, giving you information and tools that are actually going to make a difference, holding space for your journey + emotions, and getting you excited about your health again.  My goal is for you to feel empowered and to feel GOOD in your body again!

Plants have been used for thousands of years to support the body, mind, and soul.  Herbs are a gentle yet effective way to promote balance within the body and make a great addition to support your health + wellness.  In keeping with a truly holistic approach we focus on herbs but we also discuss nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, mindfulness, and so much more!  We know that health concerns generally don't just pop up over night, they are a result of months or even years of living out of balance.  This means that sometimes it takes a while for our new changes to produce results that we can see and feel.  Women's bodies run on roughly a 28 day cycle, with many of our hormones naturally fluctuating throughout this time.  For this reason, I recommend a minimum of three to four monthly follow-up sessions.  These consultations are your time.  When you go through this process you are saying YES to yourself, you are choosing YOU.

Who's it for?

I work with women in a variety of areas on the women's health spectrum!  I particularly enjoy working with hormones, period struggles, and overall menstrual cycle health BUT my coaching practice is definitely not limited to those areas.  Many times people hear the terms 'hormone health' or 'menstrual cycle health' and they don't think they're a fit because they aren't trying to get pregnant.  Learning about your body as a woman and understanding your hormones and cycle is a radical act that empowers you to make healthy choices no matter what your goals are or what phase of life you are in!  The quality of your menstrual cycle tells us a lot about your hormones, and all of this paints a picture of the overall health of your body.  So even if your goal isn't to learn about those things specifically, they will come up in the information I share with you because they simply cannot be separated from many of the modern day health issues that women face.

How Does Coaching Work?

At this time I am doing all sessions online via Zoom.  If you live in the Flin Flon area and would prefer to do in-person at my office, please add it to the notes in the intake form OR send me an email at hello.wildflowerholistic@gmail.com after you book your Intake Session!

Throughout our time together you'll receive many extra resources from me - I love to share information!

Intake + Road Map Sessions

*Price Includes both the Intake + Road Map Sessions

Intake Session:  When you first book online you are booking your Intake Session!  This is to ensure we start off on the right foot by spending a solid 90 minutes together going through your intake forms and getting to know each other. We'll discuss current lifestyle, health history, assess your constitution (hot, cold, damp, dry, etc.), and firm up your goals.  You'll leave the intake session with some resources and a few tips + tricks you can start to integrate before your next appointment.  At the end of your Intake Session we'll book your next appointment - the Road-Map Session!

Road-Map Session:  At your second appointment, we'll sit down for 60 minutes to discuss your goals and outline how to get there.  You'll receive information on specific herbs which you can find at your local herb shop, order online, or order from my own apothecary! *Herbs are priced separately*  We'll discuss some nutrition basics, along with movement, sleep, stress reduction, mindfulness, and other forms of self-care that will support your personal constitution (AKA your unique body + needs).  Don't worry, you aren't going to integrate this all at once!  You get to choose what fits best with your current lifestyle and we'll start there.  Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither are new habits!

Monthly Follow-Up Sessions (30 - 45 Minutes Each)

Each follow-up is the opportunity for us to check in!  It gives you a chance to ask questions, make adjustments as needed, and get more information.  Implementing changes can be hard, so I'm here to be your coach + cheerleader!  Follow-Up Sessions will be booked at your previous appointment and will occur online via Zoom.

Between follow-ups I'll also send you a quick check-in every 2 weeks to see how you're doing - this is a great chance for you to clarify any information or maybe you just need some extra motivation that week. These mini check-ins will occur through email, messenger, or text and are complimentary!

Maintenance Session (60 Minutes)

The beauty of booking consultations as you go is that our journey together can be as long or as short as you'd like it to be!  When your goals are met or you feel confident to proceed on your own, we'll schedule a Maintenance Session.  During this session we'll review our previous time together and create a maintenance resource with things to support all the changes you've made.  For example, your maintenance resource might include a daily tea, some foods to regularly incorporate, tips for sleep & mindfulness, a yoga routine, etc.  It will be a summary of the things we've discussed and implemented and it may include a few new things as well!

Commitment & Cost

Please see the previous section ("How Does Coaching Work") for pricing.  I'm dedicated to working with you as closely as possible, giving you all the resources I can.  On this journey, it is important to remember that the real changes come from YOU.  You are the creator of your own life.

I want to help you make true lifestyle changes, not short-term, unsustainable goals that leave you feeling uninspired and defeated.  One of my beliefs is that life is meant to be savoured and to be full of joy.  I do not support diet culture (including cleanses), quick-fixes, or the use of herbs to completely override the natural processes of the body.  True healing takes time and it's important to be gentle with yourself as you go through this process.  It can often taken at least one month of implementing any new regime before you start to notice a shift, especially as women who function on a monthly cycle!

I have a background in herbalism, women's wellness mentorship, nutrition, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and women embodiment.  I have a deep passion for the connection between the body, mind, and soul.  Sometimes in our journey, even though we may be focusing on the physical, some emotional challenges can come up as well.  Please know that this is always a safe space and I absolutely love talking about all things spiritual and personal growth.

Spaces are officially open for Autumn 2022!

Please note: when you are choosing your date/time, you are booking your 90-minute Intake Session.  Payment must be made at the time of booking.  All subsequent appointments will be booked as we work together, for these you will have the option of paying via etransfer or paypal.

Imagine finally feeling at home in your body, full of energy and vitality!
